Contact hours= ? Ceu's or vice versa

Hey,

Does anyone know how to translate CEU's into contact hours (or the other way around, if I have that backwards?)? In Louisiana, we are required to have a minimum of 5 Contact Hours of education per year if we're working full time, and I can't for the life of me figure out what that is in CEU's. Is the CEU-to-contact hour the same in every state (i.e., one CEU is equal to 1/2 a contact hour, for example) or do they differ from state to state? Hope this made sense to someone! Thanks!
