No. It's a 2 year degree NOT INCLUDING pre-reqs. But you cannot get into the 2 year program without taking the pre-reqs. It's not possible to get a 2 year ADN degree in 2 years.
If you want to dwell on details than let me see the most I can think of is 2.5 years.The only two classes that I can seriously think of (that can be taken in one semester) is Anatomy I and maybe college English.Most if not all classes would be more than happy to accept the biology,chemistry,and other required science from high school.I dont know why some people turn an associate degree into 3 year degree program,it seems like they feel inferior to students with Bachelor degree,which in my opinion is ridiculous.Do you hear BSN students claiming their program was five years? Two year degree is just that,people should get over it,or apply to BSN if they feel inadequate.

I can tell you that automotive technicians can do well. I do about $80K/year.... BUT, it will take you years of experience to get there, and there is little to no upward mobility. There is a salary ceiling as well.

Associates = 2 years
Bachelors = 4 years
