Where do you get certified to be a CNA?

our community college has classes.

you might also contact the nursing home or hospital where you would like to work. most often they will have you certified.

CNA's are in demand especially in my area. Alot of hospitals or nursing homes will pay for your classes. Check it out in your area.

Specializes in LTC, MDS/careplans, Unit Manager.

Most of the hospitals and nursing homes here offer them too. Also some need staff so badly that they will let you work as an axillary aide and pay you a smaller wage while you are in classes to become certified!

Good luck to you...CNA's are very valuable assets to the healthcare team!!!
