I am currently a Branch OPs Manager for a credit union and will be starting Nursing School in Feb 03-----I am going the LPN to BSN route. I will continue to work full time for as long as I can and I know that this is going to be the toughest eighteen monts of my life. I am very excited and ready to face the challenges. If you have any advice for me I would love to hear from you!

Specializes in Med-Surg, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac.

Congratulations and best of luck to you!!!

Be sure to take care of yourself. Eat right, exercises, take time for yourself.

Keep your sense of humor. It's not all that serious 100% of the time. Bond with your fellow students.

Come to this board and keep in touch, vent and ask questions.

Specializes in Corrections, Psych, Med-Surg.

And also note that there is a forum on this BB specifically for student nursing, where you can commiserate and exchange ideas with your fellow students.

BJ: You will find many others in your nursing school who feel the same way you do and with the same questions you have. You will develop a closeness with some of these fellow students and together you will pull through your classes and clinicals. The bonding of nursing students together not only helps greatly with the burdens of study but also can be a wonderful way to vent frustrations and air out difficulties.

Make certain that you stay with this BB--there is no other like it, and every nurse and student nurse here will be pulling for you.

Keep us posted.

Peace,

Lois Jean
