Hey everyone, I just moved from FL. to WA and am getting endorsed for LPN. I have two misdemeanors on my record from 6 years ago, way before I became a nurse, they are negligent driving and possession of drug paraphernalia (pot pipe... wasn't mine) anyways, they issued me a license but listed on the license web credentials page that there was an action taken and that I have had a misdemenor. Will I still be able to get a job with this??? It looks BAD in black and white but I have a license none the less....I am confused. Florida never put it on my license they just made me go through a counseling program for nurses. Please help if anyone has ever had this problem...I am about to go look for work but I am so scared of how to explain this!!!!!

You need to contact the board of nursing where you wish to be licensed. We can't offer this type of advice.
