I am a student nurse and will be moving to the Orange County area when I graduate. What do new grad nurses make out there? I've seen between 18 and 26/hr listed for grads with under 1 yr experience-is that correct? Seems kinda broad to me.

Thanks guys!

Well, I am down in San Diego county and we had all 3 major health systems on campus the other day. They are all paying approx. $23.50/hr for new grads.

Good luck!

depending also if you are full time employee or not at my hospital with benefits new grad is $22 an hour but the benefits package are excellent. Per Diem nurses without any benefits are $35 an hour. When you do decide and start applying don't just look at the dollar and cents look at the whole picture with the benefits package and without the benefits. if questions feel free to email me.
