Hello...looking for something with draws that can be wall mounted in pt room OR some type of container with draws to place on a shelf outside of pt room to hold nursing supplies. Examples; flushes, oz tubing, 2x2 etc. What does your facility use? Thank you for your help.

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PACU.

All of our room on our peds floor have cabinet/drawers that are moveable.

Specializes in ER, progressive care.

Our ERs have a drawer cart filled with such supplies:

* alcohol pads

* dressing supplies (pretty much anything you can think of minus sterile suturing kits/suture removal kits & sterile gloves)

* fingerstick lancets, 2x2's

* 10cc NS flushes

* tape

* oxygen masks/tubing

* extra telemetry leads

* lab draw supplies, IV supplies (to start them)

etc. My floor doesn't have a supply cart at the bedside so we have to bring everything in room or stock at things at the bedside on a prn basis. We do have an "emergency' bag filled with suction supplies and an ambu bag at each bedside.
