Beauty guru

Nurses General Nursing

Hi guys,

I am a 22 year old female who is really into makeup. I just started my YouTube channel. But it will take a while to grow. I want to be a YouTube guru. I have always been into fashion and makeup. However I am not from a prominent background, so I want to go to college to have a secure future, (which in this case will be nursing school). Keep

in mind I have a lot of health science background. I know nursing school is a whole other ball game. Anyways I am just wondering if I can still do my YouTube videos while in nursing school (I film one video per week. Which usually takes 4-6 to produce and upload). My friend who is an RN says I can't but I am really passionate about this and don't want to let it go. I think if I organize myself I would be fine. Any suggestions or advice

I was also thinking of going for cosmetic nursing so I can mix both of my passion together. Let me know !!'

Are you working another full time job while going to school? If so, finding

4-6 free hours per week while juggling working and going to school, might

indeed be a challenge. You are young and probably full of energy, so I

have a feeling you can pull it off somehow. :) Good luck in both

endeavors.

I don't see why you couldn't. Many people work full time jobs 40+ hours a week and still do well in nursing school. If you're working full time and going to school though, finding that time might be a struggle.

Having interests outside of nursing makes you a more interesting person, and is a good thing.

Finding the time might be an issue at times; you need to be flexible.

Since you are 22 ,not from a prominent background, and looking at college, is it fair to assume you will be paying for it yourself?

If you will need to work, keep in mind that school will come first, work gets a high priority, then everything else comes after.

There will come time during breaks when you get more free time and times during final exams where there is almost none.
