At work all the time

Is it just me or do the rest of you have problems with working your normal shift, then having to go in on your days off for classes that are only like an hour long but never seem to be scheduled on the same day. So basically that you are at work every day. It seems that everytime I go to work there is another meeting or video or inservice that has to be completed or else. Which wouldn't really be a problem except that 75 percent of our staff live 30 miles or more away from work. This problem seems to be getting really out of control since the JHACO seems to be looming in the near future.

Any thoughts or suggestions, or should we just suck it up and take it?

Yeah Moon that mess is going on all over and with a couple of added twists.

Our system implemented SPIRIT classes last year. Thsi was basically a series of customer service classes. They would holdmultiple classes a week in the begining. Maybe 2 of these would be during the night shift wih a couple more being at maybe 7 or 8 in the morning. The rest of them were between 9-5 in the day. Well I was pregnant and staying over after working a 12 hour shift was just physically beyond me and I refuse to come in on my days off. Now I have a new baby.

Just tot sum it up I attended not one single class of the 6 required. They are telling us this will count for half of our annual eval. oh well...
