Are Short Artificial Nails Out Too?

I keep my nails short but have acrylic on top. It makes the nailpolish last longer. I'm assuming this is also not ok, true?

Why wouldn't it be OK as long as the length is OK?

Where i do my clinicals, were not allowed to wear nail polish either. In my case...it wouldn't be okay

length is not the problem tests have shown that bacteria grows under the artificial nail in between it and your real nail, especially the strains odf staph. so artificial nails of all types are out of the question.

That is what I thought too. Thanks. I will take care of it next year when I begin nursing school.
