Anyone involved with HIPPA ?

Won "the big prize" per boss. Going to 4 day conference this week to learn about HIPAA, learn computer program to perform GAP analysis and impliment in my homecare agency..........all cause I know computers AND our HH agency's workflow process.

I've only glanced at this info, ignoring it figuring work will inservice me. HAH! My knowlege would fit on a pinhead.

Anyone with insight, websources???

Thanks for the sites/info...perused it prior to meeting today. Was able to understand info presented and scope of responsibility.

Spoke with VP for patient services....totally in the dark re HIPPA and what it entails, only info she had was what I copied for her from my download and first day meeting!
