I have a bit of a random question. I live in England and my brother is about to finish his RN and i wanted to get him a graduation gift. I was thinking a lapel watch but im not sure if it is Gender Appropriate in the US. Could any please let me know, and suggest any possible gift suggestions. Thank you guys for any help you can provide.Jamie
This is America, 2007 There no such thing as gender appropriate anymore. Unless I am mistaken, nursing used to be gender inappropriate for men.
nice of you to think that way. all of the above would be great ideas. where i work all the or staff received gifts (colorful, monogrammed handbags) from our managers. it was a nice thought but what could i do with it, as a man? it was the thought that counted but....
just letting you know that i think it is great you are thinking of what will be useful and acceptable to him instead of just getting something. he should be proud to have you as a sister.
