Nothing states the chemistry course has to be taken at a university. You should've already applied to your local community college and got it done there. Way cheaper.
Not sure if you were informed late or perhaps you have sat on doing something about this for some time. If you really had to have it done by the end of January, you may have to delay entry. Most upcoming semester classes start around mid-January and end around the end of May. Is there a way to postpone entry to this program?

I need some advice as I am not getting clear answers. My top choice accelerated nursing program that starts this upcoming January informed me that my chemistry course is expiring upon matriculation. However, I was previously enrolled in medical school but withdrew for health reasons leading me to nursing and ultimately NP. I have two years of postbacc graduate work (PhD level classes, pharmacology, MPH certificate, patho, masters level clinical nutrition too). I'm trying to contact the program to overlook it, but they arent giving me clear solutions other than saying that things may have changed in that time span and so on. Offered the option of non-accelerated track for january where I will be taking just chemistry and start the accelerated phase in the fall. This is lots of time lost for a prereq that is just to expire at the time of matriculation. I was also told to take a course that will finish before january 28, which is possible, however they are stating on their website stressing that chemistry should be taken in person, not online. Currently, I am taking developmental psych at the university where my top choice nursing program is and it is super expensive for one course. I haven't applied to other programs and only have my eyes on this program. How can I get admissions to look into this in another light, rather than wasting time and more money?
