Anyone else on this site who is currently getting their GED so they can soon start taking prerequisites for nursing?

I am 29 years old and ready to start focusing on my career. I am a mother of two.

Way to go! It can't be easy especially with 2 kids.

I dropped out of high school at 17, got my GED when I was 19, started nursing school at 23 and graduated at 25. Just finally finished my BSN and now working in my master's! I know you were looking for someone currently working on their GED but I hope this helps you know there's a light at the end of the tunnel. It's hard but you can do it!

Im also not currently in the process of getting my GED, but went through it not long ago...!

Dropped out of high school at 16... Got my GED at 18... And now at 22 just got accepted into an ADN program with a 4.0 gpa. All with a 5 yr old, 3 year old, and a vey supportive hubby!

I know you are not there yet and your obstacles might seem like mountains but trust me when I say YOU CAN DO IT![emoji4]

congrats on going for your GED!! I got my GED.in 2010, abd im getting ready to start my nursing program in a few weeks.
