GCU Summer 2012

Has anyone heard anything from your teachers yet? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything! lol I'm assuming we just log into the GCU portal and/or check our email for our homework and any new info?? Also, has anyone taken the university success class? I know there's an ebook needed, but where do I find info on the book or where to buy it? I'm used to using blackboard, which seems more user "friendly" for me! lol

Less than two more weeks until school starts! :yeah:

13 days to be exact! I emailed my instructors for the 1st 8 weeks. One instructor replied back. Basically, she told me that she will be putting things together next week. She told me that if I wanted to get a head start I could read Chapters 2, 6, 7, and 1 (NUR 209). I'm going to look over those chapters and check online next week to see if any assignments are posted.

Thanks for the info! I'm surprised there're waiting so long to give us the work, but guess it must not be too hard then! lol Are they posting it to Angel? or do you know if it's via email? Maybe it will be posted in the "assignments" section for the class...idk. I just don't want to be looking in the wrong place and miss it! That would be my luck

Honestly, I don't know! This is my first semester at GCU and I am not familiar with Angel. I guess I'll just wait and see :confused:

Thanks! I did see that LATE last night. I'm assuming we just get a head start with some of the material in the first module for each class... There wasn't any "classwork" listed for before class starts.

The only thing that I saw was the readings too! I'm actually finishing up COM 270 at MCC, so I have been busy preparing my presentation. I'll probably start on the readings this weekend.

I went on again last night and ine of the classes had a syllabus schedule on it now. On that one, for our class at least. We had to read and also says we have a vocab quiz next week too...plus some assignments. Not sure if that means we do those in class, learn about them in class, or if they must be done and turned in next week?!? The quiz is the part that shocked me!! lol Glad I saw it. :bugeyes:
