GCU Spring 2015 Hopefuls

Is there any Tucson applicants for Spring semester? I already took my HESI applied for the fall and was placed on the waiting list. So here I am once again giving it another shot. Hopefully, this time around I make it...

I’ve heard the program is very intense but doable. I was also told its best if you don’t work full-time. But, I also have a friend who is in the RN program at a different school who works full-time and is doing well. However, he has kissed his personal life goodbye. He is always doing homework…LOL

No, They didn't but they did keep repeating how much studying they do out of class and that after only a few weeks they are getting confident with the information they are learning. They could see themselves already starting to think like a nurse.

I have a friend in block 1 of the program right now. I don't know the hours her classes are, but I do know she is in school Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday.

Have you heard at all what the schedules are like?

I applied to AT Still also! I am super nervous! Do we find out the 15th for sure?!

Hi jennab13, my advisor said we would find out the 15! I had looked at the spring 2014 hopefuls thread and they actually found out October 14 so I'm praying that'll be the case with us as well:)

I've heard the same thing. I don't plan to work at all, but I also have a kid so that extra time will be spent on my family.

Almost a week until we find out! I'm getting way to excited and anxious to find out.. I've been searching GCU scrubs and stethoscopes when I'm bored. Ughh next week come already!

Hey everyone. I'm new to this thread! I applied for the main campus fast track starting in the spring and like all of you, just waiting to hear if I got accepted or not. Wanted to be apart of this so we can chit chat once we find out. Only one more week (ish)!

Ok so I’m still stalking the fall 2014 thread and read that some got calls from their advisors to set up FASFA and got emails about orientation?? I wonder if we are going to be getting the same thing??

Oh yeah I saw them talking about that. I'm going to keep my eye out on my email. Haven't gotten anything yet.
