Is there any Tucson applicants for Spring semester? I already took my HESI applied for the fall and was placed on the waiting list. So here I am once again giving it another shot. Hopefully, this time around I make it...

Hello Ruby- Ruby. . .I also applied for the SHC campus! Do you any idea how my applicants they had this time around? The wait is also kill me:nurse:banghead: How did you do on the HESI? Are you employed by SHC? Well good luck to all of us..:up:

Mari_315 My advisor told me that they had roughly 50 applicants and they would accept 32. He said the number actually considered would go down by around 10 because people won't complete part of their applications or prereq classes.

My overall score on the HESI was an 85% and I am not employed by SHC.

How about your HESI?

Did you go to the open house a few weeks ago?

I didn’t do so well on the HESI I scored an 82%. My GPA is 3.8, I hope they look more at GPA than HESI scores. I didn’t make it to open...:cry: I wanted to go but I had to work that day! Did you go? If so what did you think?

That's not bad! I've seen worse scores on the HESI through different threads that all got in.

Yes, I went and it was great! The facility is awesome. They took us on a tour and showed the equipment and mannequins. We got to talk to a couple nursing students in block one too. Seeing everything made me so much more excited and anxious about finding out the big answer!

I hear the SHC campus is super nice!! Yeah, I’ve read other threads and seen a huge range of HESI scores and GPA. What’s your GPA? I can’t take this torture:dead: . . . LOL Did your advisor tell you acceptances emails were going out by Mid-October?

That's not bad! I've seen worse scores on the HESI through different threads that all got in.

I have a 3.3 GPA so pretty borderline.. Hopefully it works out.

my advisor said a month - month and a half which would be mid to end October. It looks like people usually find out around the day before the 15th, but no way to know for sure!

3.3 is great! October 15th is taking forever!!!!!!!!!!! Did any of the nursing students at the open house give you an idea of what their weekly schedule looks like?

No, They didn't but they did keep repeating how much studying they do out of class and that after only a few weeks they are getting confident with the information they are learning. They could see themselves already starting to think like a nurse.

I have a friend in block 1 of the program right now. I don't know the hours her classes are, but I do know she is in school Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday.

Have you heard at all what the schedules are like?
