Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if everyone is aware, but the GCU Summer 15 start date program was cancelled. They have informed everyone that Fall 15 fast track will still be going forward. That being said, Fall 15 will become more competitive with more applicants (a lot of the summer 15 applicants will apply for fall 15 now). I wanted to create this thread for all of us - fall 15 applicants and former summer 15 applicants/now fall applicants. With all that went down for summer, I want us to all be together and stay connected and updated with the fall program :)
Has anyone sent their advisors their top 3 campus choices? Just wondering if that is still a thing.
I thought you could only apply to one campus?? I know that for MCC you can have like a top 3 choice. I really would love if they had that for GCU because I am worried that AT Still will get filled quickly =[
Hey everyone! I am applying for GCU's Fall 2015 fast track program in Albuquerque. I will be taking the HESI on May 11 and I am pretty nervous. I really don't want to rely on the "no passing score" for the HESI because I really need a competitive score. My GCU is a 3.5 and I am hoping to score in the 80's for this exam. I am currently studying with the Admission Assessment 3rd Edition book by Elsevier. If any of you have any study tips please let me know!
ALSO: I am not sure what else I should be doing in the meantime. I have applied for GCU and received my "purple party" acceptance letter & I have completed my transcript request forms, and I have set up my username/password for the student portal. I am yet to really do anything else. Please let me know, what all I need to complete :) SN: I have emailed my advisor but I have not received a response yet. I am sure he is insanely busy with everyone inquiring about GCU.
I know for Tucson we also had to do background checks and finger prints before being considered.... your advisor should have given you that information. If not just ask and wait before you spend the money to get all that done.
Dont stress about the HESI, it is pretty basic. The math is mostly fractions and ratios so know those well.
Hi! I just got a mail from GCU couple days ago saying I just got accepted, so I went ahead and call my advisor today and he told me that the mail I received from gcu is just a general acceptance letter. I'm so disappointed right now bcuz I thought that was it. Then, he told me gcu will send me an email for the official acceptance for nursing program and that won't be send until the next two weeks. Have you talk to your advisor? if so, did he tell you the same thing?

I emailed my advisor today and they said I just needed to confirm that I wanted to change the date, and asked me if I wanted to keep my preference of St. Joes the same. I'm actually considering changing to Scottsdale. Anyone have to fill out the three preferences like was mentioned here on the board or was that just a rumor?
