Published

Hello Everyone,

I know it is extremely early in the year but, the May deadline will be here before we know it. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there applying for GCU specifically in Tucson but, also in phoenix. I want to hear your experiences with the application process and the new Hesi A2 exam. I am planing on taking my Hesi A2 at the end of March.

look forward to hearing from yall

My advisor had told me that Nutrition was not considered a "science" course... Which I thought seemed weird because it was all science material...???

Science courses are just:

Chemistry Lecture/Lab

Microbiology Lecture/Lab

A&P I Lecture/Lab

A&P II Lecture/Lab

Pathophysiology

Thank you, I would have thought that nutrition would have been included! That is good to know, thanks again!

Well it seems as though a few people were told that it counts as a science... So who knows really....??? I would prefer it count, since I got an A in that class.. Ha ha ha

Me too, I also got an A in nutrition. Well May is going by fast, it will be mid-June before we know it! I'm taking a class over the summer so that should keep me occupied and make the wait go by fast! :)

I was told they were scheduling interviews this week or next week. So, hopefully I can WOW them and prove to them I am ready for this :-) I'm super excited :nurse:

Where is the Scottsdale location at? I'm not familiar with the Valley. Thanks

I believe the nursing program is held at the Scottsdale Healthcare Medical Center at Shea blvd. It's at Shea and 90th st. Right off the 101.

Hi :) I'm new here, but I've been following this thread for a while now! I'm applying to the Tucson location :) I just wanted to see if anyone could give me an instructor name that was "good" for Patho taken through Rio Salado? The instructor that I'm signed up with to start on June 9th is said to be a horrible instructor and I really don't want that! Help?

I just sent you a private message with my Rio Salado professors name..

BabyMamaJenn, thank you for your message! I can't message back because I haven't been a member of the website for long....

Your instructor isn't available for when I start my class so I have to go with someone else. I'm sure that all instructors have to take follow a similar rubric though, right? What is the structure of the course like? :)

Thank you for your help by the way! I really appreciate it!
