Hello everyone! I'm applying for the Texas Tech accelerated nursing program in spring 2020. And I was wondering if anyone else was applying as well? My stats are: I have an overall 3.51 GPA and a 3.7 science GPA, and I am a trained phlebotomist with 200 clinical hours (hopefully this is a strong enough application). I have not taken the HESI, but I will take it next month, and I will be starting the application process on July 1st when it opens.

@natrose27 I think you should still apply. I’ve heard of people with similar scores getting in, but ultimately it’s up to you. If you feel more comfortable retaking the HESI, then do that.

@Autumn9285 Thanks! I'm gonna go ahead and apply. I would hate myself if I didn't try at least. If I don't get in I could always take it again in December and apply for fall 2020 in February ?

@natrose27 super late but I did end up being able to submit it. And they sent me an email today saying that I got in!!!
