Hey guys, im applying on the 15th for fall 2018 admission. I was wondering if you guys can post your stats that got you in? im stressing out about this. this is where i am so far...

Hesi : 90.29

Science GPA: 3.69

Cum. GPA : 3.28

Some volunteer work and 3 LOR.

What do you guys think? My cumulative GPA will Improve as i need patho, and a history still.

I think you have pretty good stats. You don't need perfect GPA but they do focus a lot on the hesi score and patient experience. Don't stress about it, you'll do good. Just focus on the classes you have left so your GPA can go up. My stats are as follows :

Hesi: 90.26

Science GPA: 3.28

Cumulative GPA: 3.52

I volunteered at a nursing home and a hospice for like 1 to 2 years each.

And just relax, try to keep with all the dates and good luck with everything.

Hello ttbsnhopeful, I am thinking of applying for the fall 2018 cohort as well. I am VERY worried about the physics portion on the hesi however. Do you have any pointers you could give? BTW your GPA's are both better than mine and I did not see on the NursingCAS where we had to submit LOR's just personal statements? I wish you the best of luck, so glad I found your post I have been unable to find any blogs for the fall 2018.

i was worried about the physics part of the hesi but when i got there, i was happy to see that physics isnt on the hesi. i guess texas tech omits that test

Can anyone help me figure out how to take the HESI? I am applying for the Fall 18 semester with really good grades, but I can't figure out how to take the HESI. Help!

You have to go through their website and register. Then they send you an email link topay and schedule the test. From what i understand, of you're from here in el paso, you might have to take the test in las cruces or roswell. Hope you make it! Registration closes 02/01

Thanks, I was able to figure it out. I'm gonna link some websites that ARE NOT linked through the TTGGHSON website to help those applying for the Fall! And yes, I took the test in Roswell a day before the deadline! Nice drive to and from!

I finished my essay last night and was able to submit everything just before the deadline.

Science: 4.0, hopefully stays that way after taking Micro, Patho, Nutrition, and A&PII this semester.
