Gateway Fast track LPN 2019

Published

Anyone anxiously awaiting placement into the program? ? I submitted my application July 2018 and I’m hoping I get placed this fall 2019.

Following this thread for updates! I’m almost done with my CNA course and will be applying to Gateway’s FTLPN program as soon as I am certified. I am curious how long the wait list typically is.

From what I have read, people have waited 2 to 3 semesters. I’m hoping I get placed soon. The waiting sucks lol

Hello there, I finished everything and just did my HESI. I plan to apply at Gateway Community College FTLPN program. Do we need to finish all of the vaccination list before we apply? Thank you. I really appreciate your input.

Yes you do need to complete the vaccination list to submit your application.

This is where I want to go!!! It seems like a good school and heck you can't beat the tuition. Did you ever get into the program?

Not yet unfortunately. For the Fall 2019 cohort they submitted applicants from Sept 2017 to June 2018. I submitted my application July 2018 ? so Spring 2020 will definitely be my start time.

Wow!! That's more like 3 semesters of waiting!!! Well, I am prepared to wait if that's what it takes to avoid a pricey private school. Thanks for answering me back. I hope you will update us all when you do start.

I just put my LPN application today, June 17, 2019. My long wait just started. I put my name for the RN program two weeks ago and the LPN just today. Wishing for the best.

*You do not need vaccinations yet when you submit your application, but you will need it eventually once they call you and told you that you are "IN" for the program.

Hello Ana, Thank you for the reply. I submitted my application about two months ago and we needed the the vaccinations before we apply. Right now I am still waiting all the news about it anxiously. Again, thank you Ana.

Best of luck ;-) I’m hoping to get in this Spring 2020. And anxiously waiting for the email this coming Oct. I submitted my application last Dec2018.
