I was just accepted into Galen's LPN to RN day program at the St.Pete/Tampa campus for July 2014. I wanted to start this thread to see if there are any other's out there starting at the same time. It would be nice to start connecting with classmates. :)

It will also depend if you have classes transferring in or not. I know the first 12 weeks I only need to take the online computer class because all of my other classes transferred in. Are you waiting on a phone call for acceptance?

I was able to do 90% of it from my home. I just scanned and uploaded it to my laptop and either emailed it or uploaded it to Galen's student portal. After my FA cleared, they had me come in and sign the financial agreement and sign the contract and get my schedule. About a month later I went to an orientation for the online/hybrid students. trishlvnsoon2bRN 61 Posts Specializes in ICU. Jun 14, 2014 I'd say you should give it at least 3 mos in advance. The FA approval took the longest for me. I ended up having to wait until the following start date because it took a while. It worked out better anyway. Sent from my iPhone using allnurses
