GA EC students our story made it on the NEWS!

Hi All,

I am proud to say we have been working very hard to have our voices heard. Today part of our stories made it on the channel 2 news. Please lets continue the fight. I feel for those of us who are already enrolled students of excelsior, we, at the very least, should be given a reasonable time frame to complete our studies( as students from other states have). Also, like the GA BON keeps stressing to us" We, are not unsympathetic to the plight of the students" I am not unsympathetic to their plight either. I have no problem getting the clinical's hours they are requesting, if that is going to allow me to receive licensure in the state in which I live.

I really like the state BON stating how they are not unsympathetic towards our plight, but they are the ones that initiated the law!

Hummm..let me see, let's create a law that cuts nursing students our of their desire to work in Georgia, then say we are sorry and not unsympathetic...wow. I guess they think this makes them look compassionate.

Good job guys, it's not fair to pull the rug from under GA EC students. What happened to being forewarned. I will do whatever it takes to help GA even though I'm in New York.

Today I told someone that my EC graduates has limits on where we can be licensed because of the lack of clinicals...they told me to forget about EC. This ignorance is the reason we MUST fight.
