Congratulations to all the FY19 MECP Selectees. I am an active duty GySgt in the Marine Corps with 13 years in and was fortunate to be one of the individuals selected. I look forward to the next chapter of my life and wish the best to those who weren't selected.

Congrats! I was also selected. I am an E-6 in the Navy with over 16 years in at 35 years old. The main purpose of this comment is to encourage those that were not selected this time. It is not over. Keep your head up and keep pushing and eventually, your hard work will pay off.

Congrats sailors! Glad to see your hard work and dedication is paying off!
Quick question: Since the NAVADMIN message hasn't been released, do we wait until then to request orders, etc., etc.? I apologize for the question but being in the Marine Corps and in a remote command there is very little admin support. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on your selection, I am also a selectee for FY19. From what I have been told -------------- will reach out to us after the NAVADMIN comes out. I'm using the FY18 NAVADMIN as a "guide" for what to expect. Below is the link, hope it helps!

And to everyone who didn't make it this year do not give up!

HM2 Mendez,
I appreciate it. That's kind of what I have been doing but I just want to make sure I didn't miss something. I have been keeping an eye daily on the NAVADMINS and it still hasn't been released. Do we just keep waiting or should I reach out to someone? Sorry for the questions but I just want to be 100% sure I don't miss a deadline or mess something up.
Good morning Gunny,
I have not seen the NAVADMIN for this cycle either. If I don't see it by March I will give the MECP coordinator a call. If I hear anything before then I will post it on here.
Jmm1990,
I appreciate it. I have been looking at the BUMED website everyday for the NAVADMIN but just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything as this is truly a life-changing opportunity. I tried PMing you my information but the site won't let me.
