Does anyone know if you need to disclose a juvenile felony to BON in California? I am confused as the site says disclose if charged as an adult but I was charged as a juvenile. I am going to be graduating from nursing school this year and I am afraid of them denying my license because of this record. It was sealed but it still comes up on live scan.

If it says “disclose if charged as an adult,” that indicates that they acknowledge that difference between a juvenile and adult conviction. Based on that specific wording, I would not self report it. You could always speak to a lawyer in your state though (TAANA.org)
