hey all...i was just wondering if any of you were members of the florida student nurse association while you were in school? or if you are currently in school and a member? the reason i ask is because my c.c. is based on points to get in the asn program and i really want to join this association for the 5 points it will give me--problem is i am not sur how to do it. when i locate the website (at least i think its the website but it comes up as florida nursing student association, not fl. student nurse assoc...) it has a place to register but yet it wants to take you to the national nursing student association, if i join this is it the same thing or what?! i am confused :lol thanks for any help :)

i served on the executive board of the fnsa while i was in nursing school. it was a very rewarding experience. when you join the fnsa you automatically become enrolled in the nsna as well. i hope you take advantage on the wonderful opportunities involved with membership in the fnsa. contact your district chairperson (should be listed on the website) for information. or call them. or e-mail. there's lots of ways to get in touch.

Hey Mishayla,
Go over to the nursing department in your CC, they will have information. I know that at my CC, there are usually flyers posted about the SNA, and I'm sure that they have information a bout the FSNA as well. It will be something I'll be joining as well.
