I just have my new funniest thing ive heard and thought i'd share it....
A nurse is calling a physician in regards to a change in a patients apical pulse during auscultation. The nurse goes on about the irregularity and the physician asks whats the patients rhythm (telemetry). The nurse flips her hair and says, "it goes, da dum, da da dum dum, da dum, da da dum, dum da, da dum......... The physician says to give the phone to another nurse that knows whats going on. Everyone was cracking up.......

I do not think this is all that funny. In fact, some might view it as thinly veiled hostility. A nurse who works in Telemetry would be very unlikely to have this conversation w/ a doc, or anyone else for that matter.

You would be suprised.........If you were there, you would of laughed as well, but i guess looking at it from an outside point of view, its not that funny, but more scary than anything.......
But this stuff happens.......Dont fool yourself in thinking it doesnt.
