Have been doing some of the questions in this book to get a head start... Some questions are simple but most of them are SOOOO hard!!!! I'm kind of freaking out! Do they get easier? I'm assuming I will be learning about most of the stuff they are asking in this book, throughout school?

It'll all get easier once you hear about it in lecture! No worries :)

It will all be familiar to you once you get to class. Use that book to help you study once you have had the lectures.

Don't read the book unitl you get your syllabus. You could be wasting your time on subjects not even covered in class.
I am going by the syllabus.

You should wait until you have lecture and do the questions after you studied the material. I have the same book, but I didn't use it to study for my fundamental class. Now that I'm in my 2nd semester taking Med/Surg I remembered that I had that book and I've being practicing questions for topics such as Fluids & Electrolytes, Infections, and Pain that I'm covering in my Med/Surg class. The questions in this book are pretty hard but somehow you learn to answer them correctly when you start to get used to think "like a nurse".
So IMO you should use this book when you're preparing for your exam after you've studied the material. If you want to get prepared for class you could always read the chapters that you know you're going to cover during the first week of class.
