Fundamentals of Nursing Challenge Exam

Hi all! I'm from Rochester Ny. I am an LPN applying for a accelerated RN Program Spring 2016. I'm trying to gather information for the Fundamentals of Nursing Challenge Exam. I purchased the Excelsior FON book and study guide. I have not registered yet but curious to know if they will have a practice test for this specific exam?! I have to get a C or better....hoping for the better. Also if anyone else has taken this exam I really don't know much about it...is there anything specifically that I have to know about this exam?! How did you do? What was your study strategy? Is there anything you suggest? Thank you!

Specializes in EMT since 92, Paramedic since 97, RN and PHRN 2021.

Just make sure that you clear it with your academic advisor at Excelsior. Most of the General Ed classes are accepted but when it comes to the specific nursing classes/exams they may not. Just make sure you get the Ok first from your advisor, save the email then you are good to go.

Don't want to see you spend money and then it not be accepted at Excelsior! ;)
