I used the online portion of HESI Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN. There is a fundamentals test section online that was super helpful. Read the rationals closely after each question. I found that some of the questions were quite similar to the actual test. I also used the Saunders book to just review. Things to remember; ABC's, Maslows, and things you can and cannot delegate. Our grades are similar and I didn't study as much as I could, I little here and there til and more hardcore two days before the test. My grade put me in the 91% percentile nationally.
Do you have access to any kind of adaptive quizzing program? I thought Elsevier's Adaptive Quizzing program was helpful because I got used to answering questions I'd never seen before- guessing at them. You'll probably do fine. The fundamentals test isn't too hard, I thought. The practice test is also very helpful and Saunders is my new best friend.

We use Lippincott now and prep u quizzes. I'm not sure if they're the same, but someone did give me access to evolve. I have been practicing those quizzes, but they seemed hard to me. Like a lot of SATA and stuff our class hadn't been over. I also have access to the green hesi book I'll use.
I'm sick and I don't feel like studying, but I have to have a 0% to pass with a 76 and a 24% to get an 80 or 89% to get an A, I think that's what I calculated anyway. I am shooting for the A, but as long as I pass I'm good. LOL.
They are hard quizzes. I average 50-70% in any topic and sometimes much less. For me, the questions just get me used to the random nature of HESI and I'm getting better at just guessing at subjects I don't know.
So did you think the actually hesi was easier than the adaptive quizzes they have?
I almost cried because I was like if the hesi final is this hard I'm screwed.

Can anyone offer tips for the Fundamentals HESI final? I know there is a HESI book, but I'm not fond of it. I have the Saunders NCLEX and the Davis Fundamentals Success book, but some of the stuff in those books, we didn't learn even though it's under the fundamentals section.
Should I read over all my notes, do Prep U questions, or just use those books I mentioned?
Thanks!
