FSW SPRING 2020

Published

Hello!!

I'm creating this forum to keep in touch with upcoming nursing students interested in applying to the FSW 2020 nursing program. How many of you have taken the TEAS and are ready to apply?

I hope this year the offer the ANEW program for spring 2020 since last year they did not take any applications for the ANEW program.

I'm looking forward on hearing from other future students...

If nursing is something you’re passionate about don’t give up! If you think you did too poorly on a class speak with your guidance counselor as some classes have other options. For example sociology can replace psychology and vise versa. Buy the ATI TEAS study secrets guide (yellow and black book). It’s loaded with good information.

I'm currently finishing up to apply for the Fall term of 2020 but too discouraged to even bother. I am re doing my TEAS to improve a score in a few weeks, and have just one final class to do the next semester to apply. However I doubt I will get in, just not smart enough. I'm very happy for everyone who has been accepted or has the high chance of it. Good luck to you guys. I've just decided it's way better go give up. I can't do it, or get into the program in the Fall. Good luck to you guys. ?

Dont feel like that. You will get in. Have faith in yourself, the patients will count on your knowledge.

Awesome scores! Good luck!! I keep looking to see what were the points for last semester but the applicant profile for last semester hasn’t been posted

Hey. Not sure if you’ve seen it already but the fall applicant profile is posted on the FSW website.

Yes! I seen it last night and took a screenshot. I think last semester was more competitive. 350 applications and only 161 were accepted.

It is about six weeks before we know if we will be nursing students in the spring. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

How do you all feel?

I emailed my advisor to check into the ANEW program being discontinued and the nursing program assistance emailed me back and said that they will indeed still have the ANEW program for spring. I hope to apply as for the ANEW spring 2020 program. I take my TEAS on 7/24.

Hello there

What is the ANEW program like compared to traditional? I understand the classes are on weekends instead of during the week. Is it partially online also?

I just finished taking the TEAS today. I will be applying to both Lee Traditional and ANEW with a total score of 69 points. ?

  • 3.19 GPA
  • 9/9 Pre-Requisites
  • 84 TEAS

I wish you well. In 4 weeks we will know our status.

We should be finding out in less than two weeks. According to some old posts that I have read, most people got their acceptance/rejection emails around Nov 7/8th. So that means next week we have a good chance of getting something.

I’ve noticed this trend as well. Hopefully we get our letters next week.
