I know this is way far in advance but I am taking my perquisites online in hopes to apply for the FSW nursing program sometime in 2022. I spoke to my advisor and he told me that they are changing the point system for admission to program in the Spring. Does anyone have anymore info about this? I just don't want to miss anything.

I was reading the FSW nursing page and I am more confused. The info they have on their website for Spring 2022 applicants it not very clear too me at least. In the first paragraph of the pdf they say that we need all 9 pre-rqs but then below that paragraph they listed something else. See attached the pdf and let me know if you understand.

Yes, I read that too and I was confused that is why I am asking. It kind of contradicts itself. My advisor told me that they want to stop using the point system because it is taking people so much time to get through take prequisites to apply.

Hi guys, so I will be applying this August for Spring 2022.
From my understanding, the 9 pre reqs that they're talking about is the 9 courses on the tally sheet. Only the 4 courses on the pdf you posted are needed to actually apply to the nursing program. The 9 on the tally sheet are just counted as points, not required but if you do them all you'll get extra points.
I hope that makes sense. They changed a lot so it is very confusing. I'm also confused on the tally points, whats a good amount of points to have?

Do you think applying with 7 courses completed is a good idea? Using the 2021 score sheet that would put me around 31 points for GPA. I have no idea if this good enough to even attempt applying?

Yes definitely apply!
I applied for Fall 2021 with 8 courses completed and I was accepted ( LEE ANEW my first choice), if your GPA is good and you already took A&P 1 & 2, you can apply.
Yassany did you take alegebra or statistics? My stats grade is better than my algebra so I hope they take that grade...
