FSW Fall 2020

Anybody has plan to apply for Fall semester at FSW? (ANEW program)

I couldn't find any topic related to Fall Semester 2020, so I think I will start this. By the end of Spring 2020, I complete 7/8 prerequisite classes (I will take Microbiology in the summer since it's not required for application). I have a baby at home, so ANEW program (Collier) seems fit my schedule. Anybody has the same plan like me? Please share your thoughts. Thanks

Hi! Im planning on applying for the fall 2020 regular program(not Anew). Done with all my classes just focusing now on studying for the Teas. I take it at the end of next month! Have you started studying for the Teas yet?

Hello!
I’m planning on applying to fall 2020. Curious to know if anyone was able to take the TEAS before all this craziness with COVID-19 started

I also plan on applying to the anew program. Lee campus will be my first choice

Hi guys, I canceled my TEAS test on Apr 8, the school is gonna do an alternative selection methods.

Hi! I am applying to the traditional program at lee campus (first choice) although I might consider ANEW as well. I didn't get to take my TEAS test due to a busy Spring semester for me and then cancelations of test due to COVID-19. Has anyone been in contact with any advisor since then? I am aware of the alternative selection method but I still have a few more questions before the deadline.

I haven’t contacted my advisor but just went ahead and applied on the website. Hope everything will go well since my TEAS was cancelled.

Did you just skip the section where it asks you for TEAS scores? I haven't submitted yet for that reason I'm not sure if there's something else I need to do or if it would allow me to submit without TEAS scores.

Hello! So as far as I understand, whether you took the TEAS or not, you still apply. Only difference is you dont include TEAS score or tally sheet in the application. Then nursing program will contact us after may 15th to take the math quiz and writing sample. If you took the TEAS they will just count whichever score is better. So I took the TEAS once and dint score that great so I'm hoping I do better on the math quiz.

Oh okay I see, yeah I just wasn't sure I was able to submit it without TEAS score. I also hope people that took the TEAS don't have an advantage because I was supposed to take it but it got cancelled due to all this craziness... so I hope to do well on the math and writing as well. I'm also a transfer student from Miami so I'm trying to have all transcripts and everything else in order in time for the deadline.

Hi everyone,

We had to add a tally sheet with our application? I did not see an option requesting a tally sheet. I hope I didn't screw up my application.

I wonder how many people will apply now since it seems to be easier. Have you guys completed all prereqs?

You only had to submit a Tally sheet if you took the TEAS. And yes I think a lot more people will apply since its just a math quiz and writing sample

Gonna be a very competitive selection I think so !! Do you guys send out applications to other schools to or just FSW? I just sent to FSW because there’s evening and weekend classes, which fit my schedule

@Sq25 I completed all pre-reqs but because I'm a transfer I'm not sure if they're going to process my transcript in time of the May 15th deadline so I was told they might not include my Microbiology for admission points even though I completed micro with an A this Spring semester ? which I find a little unfair but I hope to explain during the interview, I still included micro in my application nonetheless.
