FSW Fall 2019

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hi everyone! Just wanted to get a topic started on FSW's Fall 2019 cycle. The application deadline is May 15th. Here are my stats:

When this spring semester ends, I will have taken 8 out of the 9 pre-reqs. (3.62 GPA) I plan on taking A & P II in the summer. I am also taking the TEAS for the first time in May. I am a little stressed that I'm cutting it too close to the deadline and taking the TEAS without A & P II. My #1 choice is Collier ANEW, #2 is Lee ANEW.

Anybody else out there applying for Fall?

Hey everyone -

I recently took my TEAS and I received a 78.1 % and I have a 3.1 GPA... Im extremely nervous, I know it's not an extremely competitive score and the fall semester is usually a lot harder to get into.. I want to get in so bad this semester. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I would take the TEAS again in May to boost it up to atleast an 80. That way you'll have a total of 60 points or more.

Hi everyone, I have 4.0 GPA and I scored 72.7 on the TEAS :/. Hopefully still descent amount of points to get accepted at the Lee campus.

Hi everyone, what are your choices?

Hi BK2019,

I am hoping to get into the program in Collier traditional, then ANEW, if I won’t be lucky enough then Lee traditional

You still have over 60 points with the 4.0 so you have a chance. I'm in the same predicament. I have a high GPA but a 68 on the teas. Unfortunately not enough time to retake it. I want to get into the Charlotte campus.

3.1 over all or in the three classes to make application to the program. The program is not really clear on what they require. They say you have to have the three pre-req classes done, but they dont specify what GPA they want for those three classes.

Great job! I just took the TEAS for the first time today and scored 75.3% I wish I would have taken the TEAS earlier to stand a chance to improve score. My GPA came down to a 3.29 :( My total points is equal to 56. Is it true you have to earn at least 60 points to stand a chance getting accepted into the traditional program?

I noticed that they were accepting people with points as low as 51, but that was the spring not the fall. I have 52 points so I'm right there with you hopefully we get in.

I wish it was predominantly GPA and not some random exam. After all we go to school all day for four months at the time which requires serious dedication. USF for example which is a one of the top school in FL does not require TEAS.

I know scf doesn't require the teas anymore also.
