FSW FALL 2018

Hello Everybody. My name is Keesh. I'm starting this thread a little early to get a head start on things. I was looking into starting nursing school in the Spring of 2018, but things come up. Now I'm going to start in the FALL. I'm currently looking into the FSW ANEW program which works better with my work schedule. I was told by a student the ANEW program is just like being in the FULL TIME program except it's online. It consist of hard work, time consuming and dedication. I plan to apply for LEE campus as well.

Hi all!

I was accepted into Lee Traditional and have a few questions for current students. Chris said we can get white scrubs from anywhere, but they have to be from the approved list and have to be embroidered at Hamilton's. He said we will get the approved list of scrub styles once the full acceptance package goes out. Does anyone know the style of scrubs acceptable? I'd like to get as much done ahead of time as possible. Another question, I've been reading a lot that every textbook that says is required really isn't for certain courses. What's the best way to go about getting textbooks? Just buy the bundle and bite the bullet?

hey again everyone, current student. For the scrubs they say you need wonderwink but you just need white scrubs. Also, hamilton's is expensive and takes a long time to get your stuff back! One of my friends got hers embroidered at a place in Cape for $7 a top and it only took a day or two. And as far as the textbooks, you use them all. The bundle has every single book you need (pharmacology, 2 textbooks for lecture, and a practicum book) you use all the books all 4 semesters.

Oh thanks so much! That's super helpful. So, sorry to sound stupid, but how did she get them embroidered somewhere else? Is it just the name of the college in a particular color? Or does it have to be the Buccaneer on there? I would think it would have to be specific. I'm glad all the textbooks will go to use :)

Thanks for this information! I haven't applied to the program yet, but I plan on applying in August, so I am trying to gather as much information as possible beforehand. How are you enjoying the program so far?

Good morning, do anybody possibly know when orientation will be? I remember seeing a question about it in the thread somewhere. I have a trip from Aug 2-6 just trying to make sure I will be able to attend or not

I heard that orientation was online. Has anyone gotten the final acceptance package? My Castlebranch is still showing as incomplete and I heard the person that approved it is out of the office until Thursday and we won't receive packets until Thursday at the earliest.
