FSU PC 2021 CRNA

Published

Hey, anyone else in the process of applying to the FSU - Panama City CRNA program starting in Summer 2021?

Specializes in ICU, Neuro ICU.

Just out of curiosity, those who got interviews, did you have GRE done?

I am sure they got a ton of more applicants with the GRE being waived (just like all the other schools I applied to! LOL) , but just wondering if that was something they used to weed out applicants.

Specializes in CVICU.

I didn’t have the GREs but I did get an interview.

I submitted my GRE - 155 quant and 148 verbal, 4.5 writing. I got an interview

Hey guys,

I actually just received an invitation to interview, just now. I was really bummed from not getting it last week, but there may be hope!

Specializes in Adult and pediatric medical-surgical ICU.

The GRE, PALS, and CCRN aren't required, but they do help your chances of getting picked. Other factors matter as well, such as how long you've been an ICU nurse, recent science/chem classes (and grades in them), etc. It shows them you care enough to put in the extra work. You can get in without if you're a strong applicant in other areas.

For those that interviewed, how did it go? I hope everything went well Monday and today for you all.

Specializes in MICU.

Interviewed today and all I can say is that it was really short.  The panel made me relaxed and truly just wanted to get to know me.

@FunRN22 I felt the same way about mine. I hope everyone who had interviews today did great! I'm so anxious to hear back!
