FSU BSN to DNP Fall 2020

Hi everyone, it doesn't seem like there is a thread for FSU's DNP FNP for Fall 2020, the last one I could find was for Fall 2018. Has anyone else applied? I also have NO CLUE when decision letters will go out....

I wonder how many spaces were filled for this Fall's term and how many were wait listed? I was wait listed. They advised that May 1 was the deadline to respond to accept a wait list spot.

I just got an email from FSU that my application was being reviewed when I’ve already received a notification that I was waitlisted...anyone else get something like this? It came at 2:12 PM today...

Yes,

I received the same email. I believe that wait listed applicants have until the end of the month to send in their intent, right? So maybe some time in early May we will hear from FSU for those of us wait listed. Keeping fingers crossed. Good luck to all.

I understand that, I did not submit a form that I wanted to be waitlisted (Mine was due April 30th), so I’m just confused as to why my application is being reviewed AGAIN. Does that make sense?

That is odd. I sent my intention back last week and thought that was why I received that email today. Maybe you should email them, especially if you are not wanting the wait list spot.

Anyone else who was wait listed (or accepted) to FSU's DNP still working on their BSN? I am in my last 3 classes this term (graduate in a couple weeks). Just was wondering if most all were already out of BSN.

I was waitlisted and I still have a full semester left, I graduate in August

So excited to start the full-time DNP-FNP program in August.

I am trying to decide on working full time versus going part time? 12 hour shifts or 8 hour shifts? Weekdays or weekends? SO MUCH TO DECIDE. (I currently work mon-fri 8 hour shifts...)

Any advice? What is your plan?
