So waiting for this acceptance package, praying I get in.... Does anyone know spring term cut off score?

I did not get accepted and had a score of 10.75. I live in camden county georgia and wonder if that is the reason I didn't get accepted. :(

The letter is hard to figure out and it doesn't come right out and say I am not accepted, it states if I dont hear from the school by the first week of classes to reapply. :(

Well crap I'm so sorry! If its something you really want to do...then reapply! You've got a great score...good job ;)

I just don't understand it at all. I applied for the night classes over at Nassau and I know that they only had 24 seats. I didn't sleep at all last night. Last fall I was accepted at altamaha tech but found I couldnt financially afford it and they dont accept the stafford loans. I bought all my books and everything and withdrew :(. I am reapplying there hopefully I can get back in. So frustrating

Well I'm guessing its because you live in Georgia? Idk. :( Do they not have any nursing programs near you in Georgia? It's a bummer tho. With your score I'm sure you'll get accepted.

Yeah, but the program in ga does not accept government student loans and I didnt have the money to keep going. If they cut me because I live in georgia that is not right because they had to go by criteria for admission and it was based on those scores and mine was not low. I may go to the school and have a discussion with them.

On all the letters (I'm pretty sure) it says that you can make an appointment with a counselor and discuss your score and your admit status. I would do that so you can at least see what and why. They'd be able to let you know why you didn't get in and how and what you can do to help your chances for next semester.

Yeah, that is what I will do. Also what I did is said that I would take evenings only and that narrowed my chances even more. I am not giving up I plan on reapplying to the college in GA and am just gonna have to find a way to take out a loan to cover my expenses while I am in school. (i'm a single mom and 52, decided to go back to school after the kids left the nest) I wanted to go to school in FL because I have been working in home health since 2005 in FL. (CNA since 2001). GA and FL nursing licenses have reciprocity, so first I will get GA and then FL since I still want to stay working in FL.

I hope you do well in school. Nursing and helping people is a very fullfilling job. :)

Thank you for that. It is fulfilling :) I worked in the DD field for the last 10 years so I'm excited for a new chapter. Good luck to you as well

I think you should call them because, I think you got in.... Everybody who scored above a 9 got in for sure.... Did they state your score in your letter? Because if they did, you got in..... if you did not get in, they would have mailed you a readmission letter in the letter..... I did not get accepted... And when I spoke to the ms.buford she showed me the scores and everyone who got a 9.1 and above got in..... And some people with a 9.0 got in.... So I really think you need to reread the letter or contact them.... If she does not pick up her phone, leave her a message.. She will call back.... Sorry for the long message, I just don't want you to think you did not get in... And potentially miss out on a great opportunity... Good luck keep us updated....

Hey all,

Anyone who got accepted to the LPN program, I've created a group for us on Facebook :) just private message me and il add you to it k. We can also discuss it more during orientation. Tx! :D

In my letter I got an application to reapply. I didnt say i got accepted. My ranking score was 10.75

TABE scores were 12.9 12.9 and 11.2 4.0 GPA in college. and extra point for work experience. The letter stated if i didnt hear from the school by the first week of class to reapply. And an application letter was enclosed in the packet

They sent me my score and also an application to reapply if I did not hear from them by the first week of school. I am thinking because i dont live in florida they put those who do in front of me but i will call her this week and seek clarification. I would think if i did get admitted that it would say congrats, orientation starts on such and such a date. I didnt get that. And i appreciate you reaching out ...and you need to try again also. Take some classes on the side that will help you get a better score :) I learned a lot from life experience being a cna and hha for 11 years teaches you more than any book or class room. Hang in there just your wanting to be a nurse shows your heart
