I went to my primary care physician and did them, without insurance and it was $75 for everything minus the drug test. You have to go to the north side clinic for that. The $75 included my physical, titers, and whatever else they needed from a doctor. If you have insurance, your immunizations should count as preventative and just be a co-pay. If your titers look good, then you do not have to have an extra immunization. Like varicella, I had it as a child so I had the antibodies and did not need the immunization. =) Contact worksource. Depending on the semester, they sometimes pay for all of the things you need for the program including stethoscope and uniforms (but they do not reimburse). My friend just graduated in August and they paid for her to take her ACLS and PALS, something I did not get to do a year ago.

Thanks for the information for the immunizations! I do have full financial aid, but I am confused because it says we need to purchase our uniforms and equipment before December 10th but our financial aid doesn't officially pay for the Spring term until December 13th?? So if I have financial aid then why should I pay out of pocket? I am taking Monday off of work to go to the financial aid department to see what I am supposed to do. I wish they would have explained this more in the packet. :)

The code is what you write in or print out after you buy it online. :)

Before yuo can buy it, you MUST enter the package code. I am also searching for it because it is blank and it says if you do not have it to contact customer service. These packets are pretty misguided and I found a lot of errors. Hopefully Monday when I call someone can give me some correct answers.

I just remembered they sent us a letter yesterday, a yellow piece of paper. If you look on it, they have put the package codes in there. My letter says 21+ cc90-21

This may be just my packet, however do any of your packets say "due by Tuesday December 3rd?" I'm kind of confused on this myself...lol is it Tuesday? or is it December 3rd, which is a Friday.

...about the dates December 3..I was wondering the same thing...also, what about the Finger Printing? The paper in the packet says to pick "mobile Unit" but i never saw that choice...I chose the UPS store closest to me...do we go to the UPS store or to the Nursing Office to actually have our fingerprints done...It seems to be confusing...or maybe Im just mising something? ALSO...is there anyone who has Nights and Weekends who lives in Argyle/Oakleaf area?

Ladies ,

as far as the form for the fingerprints , just fax it to them and everyone still has to pick up the form for the "chain of custody" on the drug test so just check with the school and verify all the information when you pick it up, dont panic...my packet had the same dates and info.

I've applied for my fingerprints , I will have them done Mon at a UPS store, my background check has been submitted, I will do my drug test Mon and I am going to check with the health dept on Mon about getting the immunizations there as I dont have insurance and my physician wanted over four hundred dollars to just do the titers, he did do the physical and Tb Test so most of mine is completed. I have my photos made too.

All that is left for me is just getting the uniforms , and skilles kit. I have already spoken to the owner of Stat-Line about the skills kit and will call Meridy Mon, so no need to panic. make a list of things you need , organize and prioritize and BAM you are done...have a great rest of the holiday weekend....

Hello! I am new to this website. I received my welcome packet a couple days ago. I am assuming I am in the Daytime classes because it states it on envelope, but does anyone know what the hours are of the daytime classes? I have no idea what they are and need to find out ASAP to inform my boss. Thanks!

CONGRATS TO ALL THAT WERE ACCEPTED! To the ones that weren't, don't give up, I didn't get accepted my first time around either...

I decided to try to send the background check through again...even though it said it was having technical difficulties due to the volume of entries and to try again on Monday...IT WENT THROUGH! yea! Sooooo now all I have to do is get my physical and drug test and I AM DONE...well, until orientation! Is anyone in the N/W class?

In the yellow letter FSCJ sent us will have the package code and also they clarify the "service mobile unit" thing. Just choose the UPS store closest to you, pick your appointment date and time and then enter your dempgraphic information. Then you will pay and print your barcode page or write it down and bring it to the UPS store. They will process your fingerprints at the UPS store. Bring the barcode information and whatever UPS gives you to FSCJ by or on December 3rd. :)
