It seems to me that is it taking forever to get my prereq's done to get into nursing school.....all I ever hear is well you have to take this first then this then you can take the class you need and it seems like for every single class I need I hear that it is so frustrating....I wish I would have done it right out of high school I could have went straight into nursing school ugh.

Hang in there. It will be worth it in the end, at least that is what I tell myself... I have finished and currently waiting for my letter that the school keeps delaying sending out. What classes are you still needing to take?

I feel the same way too sometimes. For anyone in school this fall that has not taken the science classes, they are now requiring an additional exam to pass + 1 more science class. Im so glad I got my science out of the way this year or I would be farther behind.
I still have 6 more pre-rqs for the RN program and I am burnt out. The constant pressure of having to get all A on everything the last couple years and the science classes have made me dred more pre-req's. Im taking the fall semester off since I am going to be in school all summer.

I know how you feel....
About 2 1/2yrs ago is when I started my whole process. I quit my dead-end job, this was about 7years after HS and decided to START college. I had to start from the bottom up!! It took me a year to get into Anatomy, and I took each science by itself (with other classes), per semester..(does that make sense?)
I also said...."geez, why didn't I start right out of high school?" But honestly, I wasn't mature enough, and everything, in time, happens for a reason.
Now....2 years later....I got my acceptance letter, passed the TEAS...and am officially IN!! Pending they don't see the few felonies I have on my background check...hahaha jk!
I look back, and can't believe how fast these 2 1?2yrs have gone! My husband is amazed! I didn't stop! Not one time! In addition, I also finished all my transfer courses for later on when I want to transfer to the University.
So....please try not to get frustrated with the process...we all have to do it! But once you look back....you will certainly be amazed on how far and hard you worked for the spot you deserved and earned!
Good luck!
I still need to take A/P 1&2 microbiology and speech, doesnt seem like much BUT at my school and probably rightfully so you can only take 1 science at a time, The science classes are always full I have been waiting to get into A/P 1 for 1 1/2 and can't take it this semester the wait list is that long just for that stupid class ugh. I am one of the students that get "top priority" for A/P as well because I got an "A" in the bio prereq. It just spending money for classes I dont "need" just to stay in school to be kept on the wait list for A/P
