Hi all,
I am thinking about applying to Frontier for the FNP Program. While I have read and heard great things about the midwifery program, I haven't heard much about the FNP Program. I would appreciate any feedback from current students or graduates of the program. Thanks.
Congrats ms_sheesh and sugah britches!!!! I am so very happy for you both...I am hoping to get into class 75. I knew I would be admitted to class 73 (whaa whaa) because I sent my transcripts for the class 75 deadline. I hope to be in the FSMFN family with you guys by December 21 (reveiw date for class 75). Please don't stop crossing your fingers (praying) for the rest of us!!!
MSPRN01, Thanks for the congrats. Don't worry, I won't stop crossing my fingers for you. The only difference between getting into class 73 vs. class 75 is the dates for Frontier Bound (February v. March). Both classes actually start in April. We'll probably start classes together anyway.
Congrats on pursuing such a great profession. I am in love with my new role as an NP.
As a Frontier grad (class 53), I will warn to you be very on top of the administrative staff or they will drop the ball. This is especially true of Financial Aid. The newly hired director of financial aid is absolutely terrible. Not only is she rude but she really doesn't care to facilitate your financial survival.

I am right there with all of you...a pacing and a biting..lol. Another funny thing, when I checked the school's site this morning for any updates, I noticed FSMFN has pushed all review dates to later dates. Point being, who knows when we will really hear something. Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
