Frontier Nursing University FNP Class 139

Published

Hi, Is there anyone out there who has applied to the FNP program for Frontier Bound in June? Looking for potential classmates and support while waiting to see if we're accepted. Good luck everyone!

I have turned down my acceptance to one program, and have to decide on second by Friday. ..so worried that I'll end up with nothing and will have to start process all over again. Not to mention, postponing start and end times in school. I'm beyond stressed!!

All research of other classes/ cohorts on this site reads the same as we are experiencing. ..long wait, frustration, stressed... But it sure doesn't make it any easier!

So I got an email saying they are REAL close and we SHOULD be getting an email soon OM!!!!!!

Don't think I would be turning it down just yet. I can't imagine what is taking so long :))))

At this point, I would have to think long and hard about turning down the other one Cancer. It has been 6 1/2 weeks since the CFNP deadline. I can understand the CNEP hold up since they did extend that deadline twice, but surely they have had enough time to narrow the CFNP list down. I really do hate this for you and anyone else in your position.

I like many others, put all of my eggs into one basket. The excitement aspect of it has passed and at this point, if it happens, it happens. The longer it takes them, the more I start to doubt my decision to even apply in the first place. We just have to remember though, in the grand scheme of things, this waiting will NOT be the hardest thing we do if we get accepted.

You would think though that they could have or should have been weeding out apps from the beginning. I know that we aren't the only thing they have going on, but this is kinda crazy. I feel really bad for you guys who have to fly in, have kids to consider, need to take time off work. Really at this point I dint even really care if I get in or not. I just want to know one way or the other :(

That is kinda how I am feeling. My Physical Assessment class had some bumps and wasn't as organized as I would have hoped; however, I have always wanted to go to Frontier and decided that I shouldn't judge the whole program based on my experience in one class. Plus, I feel like the staff did the best they could under the circumstances.

Also, I really did not like the Angel LMS so I am really glad that they are changing to Canvas. Being an instructor myself, I am a little nervous about this change though as there are always kinks to get worked out when you change to a new LMS.

"Really close" is the best update we've gotten so far. We can all make just a few more days!!

Thank you for your insight. I just go back and forth....

Oh my goodness. ..!! My heart just skipped several beats. My inbox had a message from Frontier!! It read the same as posted above. Ahhh... i thought maybe. I have to say...I really appreciate the communication though! ! Saying more prayers and crossing fingers, legs and toes.

Is today the day that our agonizing wait will end???

One can only hope
