Hi, Is there anyone out there who has applied to the FNP program for Frontier Bound in June? Looking for potential classmates and support while waiting to see if we're accepted. Good luck everyone!

Hello. I applied for the 139 class to go to Frontier Bound in June!! I am scared and excited all in one!! So I guess we will not hear until late April. I have spoken to 2 graduates and they have been happy with the program. Are you going full or part time? Good luck to you too!!

Hi, I'm not sure if I'll be part time or full time..a lot of it depends on financial aid. I'm excited and hope I get accepted into the program...busy at work, so the days are flying by. I'm in GA, where are you?

Hi! I applied for class 139 and am very anxious to find out if I was accepted! I thought this anxiety would be behind me after I got the BSN...I was completely wrong! I'm in GA as well! :)

Yes work is busy here too!! I am from PA. i am anxious too. When I think about it I get anxious and wonder how the heck I am going to do it all!!! I did my BSN on line and I made it. But I have a feeling this is going to be a little more intense!!!! Ughh!! I work in an L/D unit. What about you ladies?

I was a pediatric nurse and have been in public health for about 7 months now. This wait may just drive me insane!! Lol

Yes. I hear you!! I can't think about it.. it will make me nuts!

Hi, I'm so glad you guys responded! I'm trying not to think about it too much, but I want to be accepted to Frontier and I really haven't seriously considered another school. I'm hoping we'll find out mid-April, I've heard they let you know 6-8 weeks out from Frontier Bound.

I/dmom, where are you in GA? I'm south of Atlanta in Fayette County.

Do you guys have kids at home? Married? I'm divorced and my son is 29, but is in college and is back living with me. I recently started working in public health and I feel like a new graduate with all the state programs to learn. Other than that, I've worked hospice and the hospital in med-surg, ortho, peds.

Hi, I applied to attend Frontier Bound in June and also applied for class 139. I currently work with a FNP that graduated from Frontier and absolutley loved it! Wishing you all luck in getting accepted!

Hello, it's l/dmom. I am from PA. I am married with 2 boys, 14 and 9.

Catrpearl, you have a lot of varied experience!! What was your favorite? How do you like working for the public health department?

I like you have not applied to any other college. There are not many on line WHNP programs. I was also considering education. I just felt that going for education would not have given me as many options as being a WHNP. I know a midwife that is now a college professor.

So now I have left it in the hands of FNU. I have spoken with Waldon U for Education track, but did not do anything further.

Did everyone apply for WHNP program?

Kfawbush01, BSN good luck to you too!!!! I have heard nothing but good things about FNU too.

I applied for the FNP program. I'm from southeastern Georgia. I'm a public health nurse as well and have learned so much more than I thought I would. It has definitely been an educational experience. 😊

It's so nice to be able to connect with others who are waiting along with me!
