Frontier Fall 2019

Starting a thread to hear when people start getting accepted/waitlisted or whatever. I applied to FNP class 189.

Hi Future classmate! I'm also waiting in agony and the due date for apps hasn't even arrived. Sigh.

Any idea how long after that deadline they'll start to make decisions?

The admissions officer that I've been corresponding with says 6-8 weeks after submission deadline (sometime between July 1st and July 19th). And that it will be delivered by email....my heart is going to explode next time I see an email come in from FNU!

You've applied to the FNP program? I'm going for WHCNP. I am so looking forward to this next phase of my professional life.

Same! Once I've made the decision to go ahead and do it, I feel so antsy! Those first two weeks in July will be some of the longest weeks ever!!!

I've been waiting for "right time" to make the jump and realized there is no right time, it will always be hard. Kinda like having baby....

I applied for 188 FNP. I'm going to go insane waiting for our response email!! Good Luck!

Me too!!! BTW: I found a Facebook group just for this same kinda thing: Fronteir nursing University hopefully

Good luck to us!!

Hey! I also applied for class 189, I’ll be doing Midwifery and going for the WHNP certificate course post graduation. I’m so anxious myself! These next 6 weeks will be brutal ??‍♀️

How's everyone doing with the wait? I was ok until yesterday, then my stomach started knotting (very accurate medical term....) each time I thought of it. I felt really confident sending off my application packet and now am having some serious self doubt.

I'm ok I guess.... Out of sight/ out of mind kinda thing. Getting big waitlisted would be hard though!

We've done our best, now it's out of our hands!

I applied to class 189 CNM! I hope we hear something soon. Good luck everyone!!!!!

In case y'all aren't following the facebook group, the following was shared by someone from the University:

"We notify everyone on the same day. It will not be before 6/25. Might even be later, but start looking then."
