Because the bridge program takes as long as a RN-BSN program (a year) and costs $10K + to go through. You can spend less money and the same amount of time (or less, depending on which program you choose), and actually have a BSN to show for it.

Does anyone happen to know what the course pre-requisites are for the ADN to MSN (FNP)? All I see is the statistics course that has to be less than 10 years old.
Also, any Excelsior grads do the NP program through Frontier? All the Excelsior courses transfer OK?
