Finally had a fairly quiet day at work, nothing unexpected, and the side project took significantly less time than expected

After work was going to go to the happy hour with the gay group, but when I got there I found the start time had been pushed back 2 hours for some reason.  A bit late for me to be drinking, so I headed home instead

Today should be another ordinary work day, barring anything unexpected.  Am supposed to have dinner with my church friends D and T, but just got an email from D that her husband had a minor medical emergency so she won't be able to come.  So we'll have to reschedule

Will be a bit warmer today, in the lower 60s

Thanks Joe.  Sorry about the disappointment of not getting the message your happy hour was pushed back.

 Stars I hope the GI system is better today.  In the TMI category I would have extra underwear at work and in the car for those times.  

The art exhibit yesterday was quite small.  They didn't have as many participants this year as last.  The Vietnamese restaurant was really good.  I had a Bahn Mi sandwich with tofu and some Spring rolls.

Today is wash the sheets day but the princess hasn't arisen yet after breakfast so I haven't started.  Going to make some beans for lunch.  I'm making chicken wings for dinner.  I've been reading that spicy foods aggravate IBS symptoms and I use hot on just about everything and have many varieties.  The sandwich I had yesterday had jalapeños.  I may eliminate it and see if it helps me.  Of course I'm planning on making hot wings...doh.

My plan was to wake up early and get in some of my own cleaning up in my room, but when I finally woke up today, after another night of failing to fall asleep until REAL EARLY AM hours, it was 12:45 PM. Apparently I had turned off the alarm clock which was set for 9 AM. I may have to put the alarm clock away from the bed so I can't just reach up and turn it off. I don't even remember doing so this morning.

Now I have to call the eye doc and set up an appt for the cataract surgery. Then I have to go pick up a refill at the pharmacy. Then, later, I have to go pick up Nannie at daycare. That's my day and that's that!

Don't have to go get Nannie because SiL is going to go pick her up and take her to get her nails done. She also left a tupperware container in the fridge with supper for us in it. (cabbage + sausage of some kind).........................w00t!

Can't make an appt for the cataract surgery today, as my eye Dr is not in today and he has to make the referral, then on Monday or Tuesday the referral place is supposed to call me to set up the appt. They don't do surgeries at the eye-care ctr I go to for my eye exams. Hope it all works out okay, because SIL or BiL will have to do Nannie-care for a few days, I think. I doubt they realize all that will entail, but that ain't my problem!

Much more peaceful day today. I skipped the infection control conference I had planned to attend today because yesterday was so stressful I needed a break.
