Fresno State Spring 2022

U.S.A. California

Published

Hi everyone, I'm just making a form for everyone applying for the Spring 2022 cycle to share their stats and questions!!

Prereqs GPA: 3.75

Cumulative GPA: 3.85

TEAS: 80

An advisor told me they look at cumulative GPA first for tie breakers and then TEAS test if a tie breaker is still needed. Good luck to everyone!

@RunningSkirt I have healthcare experience as well as a BS in the healthcare field. I feel that being local carries a lot of weight for certain schools which makes sense because they probably want students to continue working in the area. This was my first decision that came out so it was definitely a little tough haha. Congrats again and best of luck!! ?

I see! I wondered about that also. If you don’t mind my asking, how far away from the Fresno area do you live?

I went to school in Socal but live near san jose!

OK. Thanks for the info—good news is you have a lot of options in that area for schools I guess. With those stats I bet you’ll get some good news soon! Best of luck to you!

Hi! I got in as well! I’m a second bachelor’s student. I thought I would post my stats since it was really hard to figure out where I stood prior to applying, especially since I was a second bachelor’s student. My stats were prerequisite GPA 4.0, overall GPA 3.89, and TEAS 94. I didn’t have nursing related work experience. Hope this helps someone!

Hi! I'm in the same boat as you and didn't know what my chances were when applying. I got accepted as well and submitted my acceptance letter! If you also accepted the spot, did you hear back after emailing the letter?

Yes I did! I submitted my acceptance letter and heard back about a day later.

Same here. Has anybody seen any social media groups for Spring 2022 yet? I'll start one if there is a need and the interest is there.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success In your Nursing program!

I created a facebook group for our cohort. Anybody who would like to join, the link is:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/217134543697321

Please spread the word to anybody who has been accepted. I added a few questions that have to be answered in order to get approval into the group....just trying to keep spam accounts from joining. ?
