Hi! I am applying to the FPU FALL 2023 cohort. It is my most anticipated and #1 choice at the moment. I was just wondering if anyone is doing the same? And if anyone could share any information on the process. Thank you :)

Specializes in PCT/CNA in float team.

How do you show proof that you are eligible to take the NCLEX? I read that on the their site and is a bit confused on how to do so.

Hi! I currently have an interview scheduled with FPU for April 21st! But I'm worried that the interview will be too close to when they will announce their selected students for the BSN program and that I will interview too late for them to consider me. One of my coworkers who is currently in the 1st cohort of their program said that they heard that the school is still trying to decide how big they want the cohort to be this year. In the first year cohort, there are 24 students but my coworker said that the school is trying to decide if they want to only accept 12 students, accept 24 students like last year, or expand this year to 36 students. Does anyone else have an interview date?

Hi when did you get your interview notification? And also what were your stats as well? GPA TEAS ETC?

I got the call I believe last Thursday to schedule my interview. Have you gotten your call yet? 
My overall GPA was 3.5 and my TEAS was 76.8% which is super average but I made sure to have really letters of rec which I think help me to compensate for my average TEAS and GPA

No I haven't gotten a call yet unfortunately. I emailed asking for an update to see. But I have a 3.7 and a 84.7 on my TEAS. Hoping for the best or it's out-of-state for me :’)

Do you know if maybe they're doing it by alphabetical order or I just lucked out for this cohort?

I think like it might be alphabetical order cuz my last name is in the V's. I'm praying for you ? hopefully they give you call this week!! Make sure to save Sarah Vang's phone number so you don't miss a call from her!

I got a call for an interview for Saturday! So excited I'm so happy right now hoping the best for us both my friend! If I'm offered a seat I'm 112% going to take it I was quite literally jumping for joy on the phone. So much relief.

I was wondering if you remember the questions they asked you during the interview?! My interview is in 3 days! 

Also, how was your interview?! How did you feel about it!

Hi my friend. To keep the integrity of the interview I don't believe I'm allowed to share questions, but overall I'm HOPING it went well. I was nervous as heck you know the usual. My first professional interview ever, I'm 20 years old not much experience there ?

 

what to expect, you will wait in a waiting room next to the interview, they will invite you in, you'll meet with maybe 5-6 people. They give you a paper and pen to write notes on (don't WORRY YOU ARENT BEING QUIZZED ON ANATOMY). They take the paper and shred it after so not yours to keep ?

my advice is to study! Study study study write notes practice practice practice! Wishing you the absolute best.
