Fresno City College (FCC) - Fall 2025/Spring 2026 RN program

I recently applied to FCC's nursing program but I'm just confused on the selection process. I see/hear a lot of conflicting information about how they actually go about it. even the website kind of confused me. do they do 100% lottery system or points based & lottery? if anyone knows it would really help me out. I took my TEAS really late (Jan 11) so im kinda only left with community colleges this cycle.

I was told on the phone that orientation for the fall 2025 cohort will be on Monday, June 2nd from 9am-12pm.

She did mention they are still working to finalize everything before they sent out the orientation date and it shouldn't pass 6/2. I was an alternate but now has been selecting for fall 2025. Hello, everyone! Who knows how much the program cost? Maybe you know how much it was last year? ) I found the price 8 000 in 2019.

OK, thank you Approximately the same. Any other data? My friend applied to college this Spring, will be starting Summer 2025 general subjects, and she was talking with counselor,  and got information that 1 unit will cost 250 $ for her. Any information I found was telling 46$ per unit. Just wonder is it like new price for studying? Or its just wrong information. I hope to find some answers during orientation.

Hi! I am currently a student at FCC/and have done my pre-recs here ...they still keep classes cheap at $46/unit so this should be accurate 🙂

Has anyone gotten any email communication with more info? I got the call that I was accepted last Thursday, but haven't received any further communication. I'm curious about signing up for classes (do I do it? Do they do it for me?) and other things. Are we supposed to wait until orientation for this info?

Hi I also received a call last Thursday but have not received any email yet.

Did you guys get called for the Spring or for the fall cause I don't know about the screen yet I haven't gotten anything. All I know is someone had mentioned that orientation for the fall was June 2?

I received a call last Thursday about being accepted into the Spring cohort. They let me know orientation would be November 7th from 9-12 PM. They also said I would receive an email sometime this week about my acceptance but I have not gotten one yet.
